The image is not displaying but I managed to download it. It looks like there is rust in the leftmost cylinder though there's no obvious piston damage or scoring in the cylinders. Hard to tell but the gasket doesn't really look blown either. (I assume the wet spots are from coolant dripping out of the head when removed.)
When checking compression what you're generally looking for is uniformity rather than a specific pressure, but yours are not even in the ballpark. Even if you had say 100-120 psi in the cylinders I wouldn't worry too much but (discarding the dead cylinder) 20-55 psi is not even in the ballpark, and is not nearly uniform.
If your compression gauge is working OK and was sealing properly in the spark plug holes, and the test performed to spec, then there is something seriously off kilter in that engine. If the valves and rings are not worn, maybe the valve timing is off and releasing compression?
