Obviously, the hose used in the gas tank has to be a special type that resists being disintegrated by gasoline. I am not familiar with the different types of fuel hose, so can't help on that, but have the feeling that the clamps that you are using may not be up to the job of holding this fairly stiff hose. If they are available in the size you need, are you using "fuel injection clamps" with a dedicated screw/nut combination vs. normal worm-drive clamps.
Also sounds like you need new injector O-rings.
