I don't think it would take much to get it going. The fuel is the real wild card. I'd take a sniff of it and if it still smells like gasoline you're probably fine to start it. I would charge the battery and crank it over for 10-20 seconds at a time with the fuel pump fuse removed until the oil pressure light goes out and then fire it up. It may run and idle a bit poorly on the old gas but if you top it up with fresh stuff you'll be fine. Avoid boost until you burn through the tank. Oh and check the air filter for vermin damage or junk first too.
The safest thing would be to siphon as much of the old stuff out as possible or use the fuel pump to pump it out and then add fresh stuff and I would do this if the fuel smells bad. Hopefully you don't have a full tank. If the fuel in there smells reasonable fresh I would try and start it. Did you use a stabilizer product before storing it?
Once you know it runs then change the oil, coolant and flush the brake fluid. Hopefully the hydraulics and good, pads haven't badly rusted to the rotors or anything like that. Oh and some good news, these cars use a timing chain not a belt, so nothing needed there.
'87 9kTs are cool, and while their value doesn't reflect this now I think they're bound to go up as C900 prices rise, I'm not sure they'll ever be as collectible but a low mileage great condition airflow is absolutely going to have some value and is worth bringing back to life.
