Bob you have correctly analyzed my prejudice when you write "In my opinion this BB has a little bit of NIS (Not Invented in Sweden)regarding this Opel/Vauxhall engine." Long-time SAAB loyalists tend to like our SAABs to drive and sound like SAABs. That was the concern expressed by the original poster. I am glad you like your V6 and I am glad to hear that it is reliable when properly maintained. I'm sure it's a great car, and I'd rather have a V6 SAAB than anything else-- if I could not have a 4 cyl SAAB. To each his own.
