I have been considering this myself.
Turbo exhaust manifold from '81-'84 900 'H' engine turbo is a bolt on.
The 'B' turbo assembly is bulky and the wastegate complicated when compared to the later systems.[ diaphragm for wastegate control currently not available ? ]
The late c900 Mitsu turbo - quick spool-up and thus more responsive and useable power.
Either just use the wastegate adjustment to limit max boost or get more involved and use modded APC.
Most complicated will be the exhaust header pipe and clearances.
You will need to relocate the battery for turbo & exhaust clearance.
Consider adding an intercooler to allow slightly higher boost without pre-detonation [ knock ].
Please post your progress and how you plan to proceed.
