Hello,

Geoff Clark did an extensive search and came up with all the bearings and seals needed through McMaster-Carr for about $50 for the entire pump. There are detailed instructions and a parts list posted at

If you are working on a 73-76 car with the brass cage the o-rings for that are also available from McMaster.

I do recall the discussion about the quality grading of the bearing (I think the McMaster part is ABEC-1)which was acknowledged to be a lower grade than the original but was deemed acceptable for the loads/speeds involved with the water pump.
