I have a 99EMS with a bad fuel pump.....I think. The car stalled but runs on starting fluid, only a dribble of fuel comes out of the cold start injector when the engine is cranked, the pump doesn't run when I lift the air flow sensor, and I only measured 9.5V at the pump with the sensor propped up. Also when I disconnected the fuel line, nothing sprayed out.

The diagnosis seems to be fairly clear. I just can't remove the damn thing. I was banging on those tangs with wood blocks, but I'm getting no where. I'm going to try to fabricate a tool from a big piece of ABS plastic.....but dos anyone have for sale/rent/lend a correct tool? I tried all the local saab repair places, and honestly, I think most of those guys have never even seen a 99. Help.
