Hi Everyone,

I recently found a sad but generally excellent shape 1975 EMS. I own three 900's but this is new territory for me. If you could provide a bit of guidance on the questions below, it would be much appreciated!

1. There is a perfect ~1.5" hole in the bottom of the passenger side trunk (spare tire well). It's reinforced around the edge so I assume that it's meant to be there. Is there a plug that is supposed to go in there? It's clearly allowed dirt and water in.

2. The previous owner had just started trying to replace the fuel pump. I've read that there might be some challenges with this job. What should I be aware of? I've ordered an old generic service manual to try and get my bearings.
