1980 99T Fuel Accumulator Question Posted by JLush [Email] (#2164) [Profile/Gallery] (more from JLush) on Sun, 28 May 2017 13:41:54 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Hi all, I am the process of getting my newly acquired 1980 99T sorted out and discovered this morning that the fuel accumulator is leaking. In searching thru previous posts here it looks like the original P/N is 0 438 170 014. Searching for a source turned up nothing but I did find the Bosch-Classic site and that said that the replacement for that is P/N 0 438 170 007 which seems to be available from several sources. Can anyone here confirm that the 007 is an acceptable substitute?
Also, the leak on this one is from the small nipple on the opposite end from where the lines connect. Is that just a vent line as it's not connected to anything?
Thanks!
John
