Does the Saab 99 have a fuel pump basket or does the pump just hang down from the rubber horn?
I'm asking as I have only one fuel pump basket assembly that has the correct diameter for the Bosch pump, seems to be about 54 mm. All of the other pump basket housings I have from early 80s Saab 900s have a 50 mm aperture, too small to put the Saab 99 pumps in.
The one I have has a pre pump on the side that fills the basket reservoir and the pump is 54-55 mm in diameter --
Do any Saab 99s have that basket system with the pre pump?
Anyone know what model/year Saab has the larger OD fuel pump basket / pre pump setup?
