Thanks for info and the encouragement, Boot.
True, there aren't that many Lambda components. I'll keep it original, scratch the automatic. I believe it was the hard to find parts that discouraged me-and my experience with the ill running early catylitic cars. But then again, I really did not go through those systems thoroughly in the past.
I'm going to make a tool, to simplify removal and fuel pump today. I am still trying to source a fuel sender for the metal tank. While cleaning the mice droppings from engine, the brittle fuel line going to the injectors snapped promptly. i think I may have a spare set. Did you clean the fuel distributor in your car?
Appreciate the offer to copy the trouble shooting, yet I believe I have the info. I have the big red book, from 1975 to 1977, I also have 900 engine manual 79 to 80, as I have an 80 900 as well.

Yes, Gary knows his stuff and I've been going over his posts.
Curious, how peppy is that turbo/4 speed in comparison to the n/a engine or 16valve turbo? My 80t is quite sluggish, yet it could be fuel (have not gone over system)injection system. I had a 79 turbo 5speed, that was also sluggish off the line. I am not sure if this is due to the tall transmission gear in the early 5 speed boxes.
