Help...Engine Removal Advice

Hello all...I need some help,

This weekend I am pulling an engine from a '77 donor to replace my '79's engine. So far so good - but I have only one day left.

Here is where I am stuck.

Separating the gear shift linkage from the transmission. The book says to remove pin - I see at least three pins down there. 1st, which one do I need to remove. 2nd, how do I remove it...any tricks?

It has been going so well I am afraid of ruining something now.

Also, if there is any other advice on separating the drive shafts - I have never done this kind of work so any advice would be very appreciated.
