I can't agree more with what Eric is saying about the front springs. I rebuilt the front end on my 95 over the summer and tried several generic spring compressors - I finally did manage but I really wish I had broken down and bought the correct tool. If you're going to do it, don't fool around with anything but the proper compressor.
