Hi Don,
I have two VSaabs with oil pressure gauges.
My '68 96 has the 1500 V-4 and is stock. Overall mileage is unknown, but I believe the motor was rebuilt at some point. When hot, it runs about 40 psi at speed and about 15 psi at idle.
My '74 Sonett has a Jack Ashcraft built motor. When hot it runs 60 psi at speed and 45 psi at idle. It has a V-6 oil pump with a stiffer spring.
Hope this helps.
