The extent of the rust on my 1969 96 is the very corner of my right foot well. It is about 3/4 a sheet of notebook paper. My first take on repairing the rust would be to simply cut out the entirety of the rust and patch weld in a new sheet. The would be the most cost efficient way for me to do it but I do not know if there is a problem with it. Would this work? what would be the best way to make this repair with small budjet?
