I have same problem with my v4 , I would be driving along and all of the sudden you loose all power in the transmission, this happen on the freeway! Basically it like have no toque at all and car in neutral. Turn the car off /on and it would "fix" its self. Shortly then loose power again.
The locking sleeves teeth must be worn, luckily i have extra good gear box, before putting it in the car ,I will tighten the nuts and replace freewheel with a 6 roller!
