2 Stroke Overheating

I have been having some problems with my 67 96 2 stroke overheating about 20 minutes after driving. After having looked on the board here, I have determined that an electric fan should be added and I should look into recoring the current radiator. After looking into this I have found a Flex-a-lite system that includes a new radiator and an electric fan conversion. The Flex-a-lite radiator has the dimensions of 20-7/8" x 14-1/2" x 2-1/4", which would mean that there would need to be some adjustments made if it were to fit. Does anyone have any experience with these radiators? According to the big box car parts stores, the item would fit (obviously with some adjustments), but I have been burned by this before with other Saabs. I am just looking to make the cooling system of the car more reliable and I figure that the cost of this seems to be about the same as getting the current radiator recored and adding an electric fan. Thanks for the experiences and help.
