Ive been looking to actually get a saab 99 but living in the mid-west, they are hard to come by. I found an older gentleman that had a ton of older saabs, but unfortunately they werent for sale. his sister ended up calling me and said she had a 1973 96 they were looking to get rid of.

-she said that the car has been stored in the garage since 1989 (the last time it was driven).

-Has a V4 ford industrial motor.

-stored with no battery connected.

-speedo says 27,000 but the cable broke and they estimate its closer to 40k.

-has a hydraulic clutch and brakes that the fluid leaked out.

-says the wheels are locked up.

-has an a/c but they need to find the bolts since they had to take it off to install a new fuel pump (never used).

-upholstery isnt in good shape on the driver seat.

the owners arent sure how much they want to sell it for, so i was wondering what a good offer would be. or if this would be an alright vehicle to restore.
