Yesterday, my 9000 CSE 1997 had what I believe is a misfire of sorts: the engine acted up for a second when I gently accelerated and then the "Check engine" light started flashing (it was as if I switched into the wrong gear). Briefly thereafter, the light stopped flashing, but the "check engine" light is still on. The car kept going OK andI reached my destination just a few miles later. Today, I just took it around the block--seems to drive OK. But I need to make a 180 miles trip home this weekend and I'm worried about taking it on the road for that distance. I'm in the Manchester, NH area and it seems like most Saab repair shops around here are closed for the holidays.

Any advice? (Whether about the engine problem or a repair place)--any advice would be much appreciated.
