My Turbo 4 had a check engine light at 30 K km that turned to be a cam position sensor (can't remember if it was intake or exhaust). These sensors are located under the plastic engine cover and are easily accessed. They cost under $100 and are easily replaced; I do not believe a reset is required (check engine light clears out on its own). My mechanic commented that these are prone to failure on other GM cars with 2.0 engines similar to Turbo 4's.
