I'm not a girl, but I may help you on this one.
The 2" Saab sport exhaust does not have a pre-muffler and the rear muffler is straight through with fiber glass -like filler. This mean that you don't have a lot of back pressure. Then when you release the mushroom pedaland let go, minor popping noises are normal. If your exhaust is like mine the sound is going to increase little by little, and you will end-up with a race car sound (or lawn mower for some). My exhaust was defective . When I removed it I could feel the broken filler moving inside. So if the sound is increasing after a few months, that's because you muffler is broken. Have you shop remove and shake the muffler to be sure.
I have now a $380.00 credit at my dealership since I don't want to go with the same noisy system again.
Next time I'll go for a pre-muffler+ muffler 2.5" system.
Sorry for the spelling, english is not my 1st language.
Eric.
