I personally have MB Quart 6.5" component speakers in the front doors and dash, which have crossovers, and love them. In the rear I replaced the stock 6x9's with Infinity kappas. This set up has great highs and mids with acceptable lows for my music tastes. My younger cousins say it lacks the "thump" of base for their likes which a simple box of (sub)woofers and rear amp or Bazooka tube would fix, but I'm not into that now.

Main thing is to listen to a lot of speaker combos until you fnd the one's you like for the music you listen to, and talk to a good installer about what combos work well with your amp/power set up.
