New gas from a different source sounds like the way to go. Does the engine feel strong and solid before and after this stutter?
How old are the plugs?
I do not think that boost pressures are an issue?
The DI could be the problem. It is nice that you have a warrantee.
If the plugs are fouled, then the missing that you describe is consistant with that. I suggest that you run heat range 6 to keep the deposits down. But the only way to know, is to pull the plugs and inpect them all. If some are darker, then this suggests uneven fueling.... you have heard the rest many times. Don't be afraid to reduce the spark plug gap. It only gets larger, so go a bit smaller and it can wear open. But, the gap would not be the cause of this problem that you are experiencing unless it has eroded to be too wide.
So, plugs and fuel would be my targets. Not much you can do about the fuel, until you use it up. So time to look at the plugs. Perhaps the Saab is acting up because it is not getting enough attention lately?
