Dutchman,
I have a '01 saab 9-3 base with 5800 miles on it already, so I do a lot of driving, typ bet 80-110 miles per hour (FAE in Texas -- long distances). Anyway, it is very stable and quiet, but the problems are: when braking hard at > 80 miles/hour (like when radar detector goes off) it pulls to the right. This can be a real handful, in fact I think it is dangerous! On curvy roads, it handles okay. The problem is the suspension is too soft, which means you can bottom out quite easily and it has trouble keeping it together through curves. So, don't overcook it in the curves. Hope this helps.
-Jay
