The brakes may have picked up silt and salt. If so that should be transient. You could keep an eye out for uneven wear. There were reports of a couple of low mileage vehicles with the front caliper slides not movingfreely. So the inboard and outboard pads would not wear the same. Depending on how the slides stick, the outboard pad could get little, or lots of wear. Seemingly contradictory but possibe. If it will not move at all, the outboard pad will see little wear. If if moves under brake pressure, but will not float back, the outboard pad will wear a lot as it will not retract from the rotor. You probably need to remove the road wheel, turn the wheels and look in the opening in the rear of the caliper slide to see both pads. You can also pry the assembly back and forth to determine that it does move freely. Hopefully your jack is secure while you are doing this.
