Hey All-
6 months on my 2000 9-3 SE, loving every minute of it except for the decent but muddled Audio System 3. I'm thinking about replacing the door speakers with a better pair, and doing some deadening and rattle fixing while I'm in there.
Question: Does anybody know if the signal reaching these speakers from the amp is full-frequency, or is there some filtering/crossover going on in the amp? That is, should I bother buying full-range speakers or are these wires only driven for mid/bass frequencies?
Thanks in advance,
Tim
