As long as Saab sales stay slow they'll have dealer incentives from time to time so don't panic about the Feb 1 incentives end-date. Be patient and check http://www.edmunds.com regularly for their list of updated incentives. The $23999 price for a 9-3 with leather and sunroof seems OK but I suggest you wait to buy until you get to Oregon. You'll save the sales tax, and you'll avoid a cross-country drive in the winter. Your new car's paint and windshield will just get shredded from sand, rocks, and other debris kicked up by big trucks. Advertising and marketing fees are baloney -- don't pay them. The dealer is trying to squeeze a few extra bucks out of you. He'll hit you up next for floor mats, rust proofing, and upholstery protection. Dealer prep may or may not be legitimate. I bought a 9-3 SE yesterday in Santa Monica, CA and the price included neither. When you're paying $25K for a car, the cost of prepping it should be part of the delaer's cost of doing business. Finally, if you can swing the extra cost, buy the 9-3 SE instead of the 9-3 base...
