Mim is an italian manufacturer not renowned for its quality. I've heard that the paint peels etc. The Mim 'Venezia' wheels are quite different from the R1's. They are thicker and (in my opinion) uglier.
The original Viggen wheels are as you say made by Radius. I am almost certain that 'Moda' is the name used by Radius in the U.S., since the product lineup is exactly the same.
It is irrelevant to the BBS 'Moda'. I contacted BBS and also e-mailed an image of the R1 wheel. They told me it's not theirs, and that BBS moda never came out in 17" anyway.
Here's the Radius website: http://www.radius-autotech.com
