THis is exactly why I ended up buying a SAAB instead of a BMW or Audi. Not to bore you with my personal views, but I am a German car fanatic. You could give me any amount of money between $20k - $100K and I'd find a German car to meet my needs, from VW up to Audi up to BMW, etc. But when I finally started looking at cars to replace my 2nd Jetta, I was turned off by the number of 3 series and A4s, even here in truck-happy Dallas. I think that BMW has become almost synonomous with Lexus in that both are status symbols. I will admit that the 9.3 is a little dated but that's part of the appeal. I agre with another guy who said his favorite BMW is the 2002. Let's hope the new 9.3 retains its heritage and does not get watered down and become Lexus like. Joshua Harrison
