I bought my 99 9-3 SE Conv. in July of 99 and have 26,000 miles on it. I find the handling to be quite good. The torque steer would be the only complaint in that area. It was not so servere that it changed my decision about buying the car. I had a problem with my car pulling to the right and eventually had that problem corrected at my friends tire shop. Since the only alignment adjustment is the "Toe" many shops will tell you they can't adjust the camber. My friends shop loosened the cradle that supports the engine, trans and suspension and shifted it to adjust the camber and corrected the pulling problem. If you liked the way the 9-3 drove on a good road you won't have any complaints about it on a bad one.
