For those of you in the northeast states, or who watch the weather chanel regularly, you know we got dumped on with snow last Monday night. I drove my 2000 9-3 120 miles from mid NH (where 30 inches fell) to Worcester Ma (where nearly 18 inches fell) right in the middle of the storm. Even though I often went through snow banks that were much higher than my front bumper, I was amazed at the car's ability to drive in these conditions. SUVs were spinning out and going off the road left and right, plows were barely moving, and yet this Swedish wonder just kept moving (except when a big Lincoln Navigator spun out in front of me and I slammed on the brakes - stopped straight and true with plenty of room!!).
Dangerous? Freakish? definately not! Safe? Sound? absolutely!
I wouldn't worry about "torque steer." you get the same thing in the 325 or 330 but with the rear end when you floor it in substandard contitions (that is unless you turn on the TCS in which case you take all the fun out of driving!!)
