Hi Tomi,
One reason you're not getting that many responses on the 9-3 Aero is that it doesn't exist in the US.
Personally, being in Sweden and having driven it several times, I think it's a great car. I wouldn't trade my 97 9000 Aero for it, but I'm kind of picky, and I have to admit I have considered it...
The way I see it you get basically a Viggen for much less money. There are also tuning kits (http://www.bsrab.se, http://www.chipcenter.cc and http://www.nordicuhr.se) that really get the performance going. Lowering kit is also necessary for that car in my opinion.
If you don't mind losing some interior space it's a great car. Some of the Abbott goodies are probably good if you want to improve roadholding. But you can get similar (often at least as good...) stuff from Speedparts (http://www.speedparts.se).
Good luck!
I believe the Viggen rear spoiler is quite easy to install on the Aero. Perhaps you can try and get one from the Valmet factory?
