hi,
I have a 9-3 Aero. I just picked it up from the Dealer last Friday.
I'm in Stockholm. Well I got to agree with Kerl, you do 'kindof' get a Viggen for alot less money. The most important difference is ofcourse the HP. I guess you see/driven one... if not, do so. Visually the Viggen and Aero are 90% the same... Roof Antenna and wheels are the main difference.
I went for a Black 5-door. I wanted the coupe, but since the seats are electric they do not slide... just tilt, so the back seats are a little un practical.
The power is pretty good, not yaw-dropping, but I guess that while I'll invest in the Nordic trim3 upgrade this year. (Which I was pleased to see now has a 20HP increase. I Trim 3 did upgrade from 205hp to 240hp, the last time I check it out the upgrade was from 205-> 260hp.)
Traction is a problem with the winter tyres, but I've been very inpressed with the TCS. Roll on summer when the standard 17" rims go on, which I think look pretty amazing.
What else... Not much, the only hate I have is the Wipers give that extra wipe after the window is cleaned 5 sec or so after... But I did love the surprise on a rainy day when I stuck the car in reverse and the back wiper automatically came on, as I was about to turn it on...
The seats are great nice finish on the leather, not the plush leather thank god, but leather trimmed Sports seats.. (Not sure if they are the same in the Viggen?)
Delivery was about 3 months, Saab had problems with the bumper and spoiler supply, so the delivery may have improved by about a month.
But I guess you can tell I love the car... Any Question just ask....
