Hi and thanks to all that gave me feedback over the past week about my dealer saying he put in dino oil in my new 9-3 SE '01.
Here is what happened when I went to pick up the car...
Addressed with the Service Manager that I was told by one of the Senior Service Reps that dino was put in and he flatly denied it claiming only SAAB Turbo Oil is used from 1 quart containers (He took one from the back to show me they sell it). This is so contrary to what I was told last time and I am just wondering if they are now covering because I contacted SAAB directly.
2 questions:
1.
I emailed SAAB with this scenario including my VIN. I am wondering if anyone knows if it is SAAB USA's policy to alert dealers when a customer contacts them directly?
2.
Is there any way to determine what kind of oil someone uses other than standing over them or, seeing the empties?
Thanks.
