First of all... Traction Control Systems (TCS) don't CREATE traction! They're just a crutch for people who don't know how to drive in the snow. I'm glad my car doesn't have it. You just need to learn how to be easy on the throttle, the brakes and when turning. The other important thing is your TIRES... Those Michelin "All-Season" (yeah right) tires ain't worth a damn in the slick stuff.
My advice is always to get the proper "snow tires" and then take your car out to a big ole empty parking lot and go nuts... Learn the limits of traction where there is nothing to hit. Of course most people don't follow this advice since they think that TCS will somehow save their bacon... <Laughable>
As for your"wheel alignment problem"... Gee... Maybe you need a front-end alignment. Or am I stating the obvious?
