I got my '96 900S with 75,000 miles on it and I got rid of it when it had 150,000 miles. The only 2 major things I had go wrong were the Throttle Position Sensor, and the Ignition Switch. But, otherwise it was a pretty good car. Just maintain them and they won't bite you in the butt, howevr I have found that it is the electronics that seem to bite the dust.
