Third Brake Light Shortage - HELP!

I used the wire to sinch the lens back onto my car, and honestly, it is very sturdy and well done, it is just that I believe the metal wire holding the assembly together is shorting the whole tail light fuse because the metal wire is touching the metal third brake light assembly.

Do you think I am correct as to why there is a short? Thanks!
