Have you had this problem? If you repaired it, what did you end up replacing?
I've had the "can't put the key in the lock position" seriously a couple times now. The first time I managed to free it up with liberal WD-40. This time I got it working with VERY liberal WD-40 and some taping of the main cyl unit with a hammer.
I know I need to dig in there and check out what is going on. But, since it requires removing the seat and the gear change mechanism, I'm like to order the parts ahead of time so I can do it in one sitting without a long wait to order what I need.
Any clues as to what wears out would be appreciated.
