There are some pretty obvious visual differences, but I have seen cars with the wrong style of bumpers installed after a collision repair. I can also tell you that the fenders are slightly different - an NG900 part would need an inner tab trimmed to fit a 9-3. Likelihood of fitting all comes down to whether there was a styling change, production change, etc.
