On my 100k trip I noticed a noise and pinpointed it to the a/c pulley. I have done my research here and still trying to decide on the correct path forward.
The a/c still blows cold and comes on an off as it's supposed to with the exception when the noise first started. At first there was no cooling so I turned off the a/c and rolled down the windows. After 15 minutes of driving or so it worked again and had no problems since then.
I will be doing the work myself so labor isn't an issue.
So I am struggling over changing the bearing, the clutch, or the whole compressor given that the compressor still seems to work and the clutch engages and disengages the compressor. Thoughts?
