I am not exactly sure of the precise numbers, but I would guess that the engine should be pretty potent up to about 5,500RPM, then drop off pretty fast from there. So if you are seeing a drop start at 4,500RPM, then that sounds like you may want to have a reputable shop give things a once-over.
