Don't use a cutting wheel. It makes quite a mess in the back seat. If you don't have a tin snip a good pair is not too expensive and really makes the job easier. After the new pump was in I bought a couple feet of 3/8" black plastic hose and slit it length wise to cover the exposed metal edge.
