P0301 is miss-fire cylinder number 1--I have had P0300 (random miss-fire) for over 2 yrs. on 178K 93SE on cold starts. Engine light is on for few days and then disappears on hot start in middle of day. I did everything you did and much more with no avail--even Saab Techs are stumped! Maybe its the gas you use? I switched to hotter plugs awhile back that seemed help alittle--not much. I hope the board of fine Saabers can help--cause I sure need some too.
