I know I've been here before asking this, but I still haven't been able to fix it.
My auto '96 stalls whenever I put it into any gear. The engine idles perfectly, but the moment I shift into gear it cuts off immediately, no sputtering or lurching at all. Interestingly, if the car is pushed and is moving when shifted into gear, it will run until it comes to a stop.
I've tried tons of different things. First, I replaced the TCC Lockup Solenoid, which didn't seem to do anything. I've replaced worn vacuum hoses and I've tried Trans-X. No one seems to know what's causing it. Any help?
