A friend of mine has a 2002 9-3 convertible. It was stalling so they had the fuel pump replaced. That didn't fix the problem and they asked me to take a look at it. It turned out to be the CPS so I replaced it.
A week later it began to have hard starting issues, a misfire (P0300 and P1300), and would bog way down when enjoying the turbo. It runs fine at idle. I replaced the CPS again with a known good used one, no difference. I changed out the DIC (twice actually) with known good used units. Still no change. I checked the fuel pressure at it was about 25 with the key on and 35 running, dropping to 33 when revving it up. I replaced the FPR, no difference.
