I don't know how little air will work - we had a big compressor we used. But, because there is very little air *flow* involved, I would expect a small compressor would be fine so long as you can get 90psi out of it. There are lots of videos on youtube of how it works, and I am reminded there may be a cheaper "Schwaben" version on offer from ecstuning.com. It won't pump out a full system, but in my limited experience was excellent at getting the last little bit out after a regular drain and did *dramatically* simplify the fill. We pulled a little more than quart out of a BMW that had been drained. I wonder if results are affected by where you're sucking from? Like, top of the radiator vs. a remote expansion tank? I dunno! I have a couple cars that are a pain to refill (air pockets, etc.) so this tool has been on my radar for a while. ;)
