oh I gave my sources, I know what I read, did the research, did you? or is it just your opinion? assumptions ?what you said is hardly an empirical refutation is it? I stated facts, of course, the result, conclusions of the research are subject to revision if disproved eh? Hallmarks of the scientific method eh? Parsimony, repeatability etc we can agree to disagree regards, respectfully
PS here are some SAE research paper results :Cooling Performance Investigation of a Rear Mounted Cooling Package for Heavy Vehicles
Paper #: 2011-01-0174
Published:ng module.
2011-04-12
DOI:

Citation:
Larsson, L., Wiklund, T., and Löfdahl, L., "Cooling Performance Investigation of a Rear Mounted Cooling Package for Heavy Vehicles," SAE Technical Paper 2011-01-0174, 2011, doi:10.4271/2011-01-0 The investigation was performed by the use of Computational Fluid Dynamics. It was found that the total power required due to aerodynamic drag and fan operation to obtain a specific cooling performance was reduced for two of the rear-mounted compared to the front-mounted cooling module. Even though the fan for these installations required more power, the total power needed by the vehicle was decreased due to a lower aerodynamic resistance. The total power demand was reduced by 1.9 kW for one of the rear-mounted installations compared to the front-mounted cooling package.
