Ok I just checked, NO these are NOT the same as original!!! the colors are reversed !(and there are lines of chrome in between) so we are still going to get it right and keep trying to find someone to make them correctly! There is an article about how they are made. I assume by the same co. that makes them and I am trying to get ahold of them to see if they will make a batch, correctly! ( Co. name was not given ) the reason for not making them the same given on some other site is non-sensical and illogical! There is an article in Autocar
How do they make Aston Martin badges?
"Aston Martin's road and race cars each features a badge that’s made by hand in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, and we've had a go at making one ....."

14 April 2016 AND, I spoke w/ an Aston Martin parts specialist at a dealership ( Arron ) and he pointed out that" the copyright laws require at least 15 changes to a part if you are going to make a copy that does not violate an original ." the maker, in the UK , supposedly has the blessing of ORIO UK ( AND they are the maker of Aston Martin badges ! ) well w/ so many changes, ? " permission" is neatly sidestepped .
