I run 225/45 on 17x8 rims that have an offset of 37 mm. I run 10 mm spacers in rear, 5 in fronts. It only rubbed once in a blue moon when car was turning and at an awkward angle, hitting a bump. Filed down tabs on liners, fixed. I really didn't have to do anything cause the rub barely happened, but when I switched from winter back to summer wheels, why not. Took 15 mins per wheel arch.
