Hi!
I bought an ELM 327 OBDII bluetooth reader for my 900 S 2.3L -97 but have not been able to use it successfully. The car is said to run on the protocol ISO 9141 which the ELM 327 should be able to read. I should also say that the 900 is made for the Swedish market. Are there some settings in the android apps that has to be done perhaps? Have been trying with Torque (Lite) and Car Scanner with out being able to establish any connection with the ECU. The app's autoscan for ECU have failed every time. Or is perhaps a laptop preferable and if so which software do you recommend? The ignition has been turned on during the attempts or is there some more complicated procedure like plugging in the OBDII reader at the exact right moment during start up?
I'm new to OBDII and would be very thankful for any help.
